Beck’s Furniture building in Rancho Cordova for sale, last of company’s locations

The Beck's Furniture building in Rancho Cordova has been listed for sale as the last of the company's three Sacramento-area locations prepares to close, ending a run of more than seven decades for the furniture retailer in the region.

The property, at 11840 Folsom Blvd., was listed for sale by brokers with Cushman & Wakefield without an asking price.

Built in 1977, the 208,841-square-foot building sits on an almost 10-acre lot, according to the listing.

Beck's was founded in 1952 by Robert S. Beckinger and expanded over the decades to multiple locations across the Sacramento area.

The company announced the closure of the Rancho Cordova location in 2025 , though no closing date was given at the time. The store location is currently holding a "going out of business" sale, according to the company's Facebook page.

The company's East Sacramento location at 7272 55th St. closed in March 2025, and its Carmichael location at 5920 Madison Ave. closed in the early 2020s, according to previous Bee reporting.
