Belton man dies after driving off road, hitting pile of gravel on MO-7 Highway
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Belton man is dead after he crashed on Missouri 7 Highway in Cass County Sunday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported.
According to MSHP crash logs, at about 4:40 p.m. Sunday, a 41-year-old man was driving a 2009 Toyota Sienna minivan northbound on MO-7 at Sycamore Grove Road, just outside of Garden City, Missouri, when he drove off the roadway and crossed into the opposite lanes of traffic.

The minivan then hit a pile of gravel, causing it to overturn.
The MSHP said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Garden City EMS just before 5 p.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown. Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
