Boston’s newest skyscraper to welcome restaurant, café and bar in 2026
Three dining concepts, from a sophisticated cocktail lounge to an all-day café and market, will open at Boston's newest skyscraper next year.
Acclaimed hospitality group Episcope Hospitality is expected to introduce the food and beverage destinations at South Station Tower in spring 2026.
South Station Tower, which was formally unveiled last month , is a 51-story office and residential building on top of the MBTA's South Station. Rising 690 feet above Boston, the tower includes 166 condominiums on the top 16 floors, 680,000 square feet of office space, an 11th-floor rooftop "skypark" and an expansion of the South Station bus terminal.
"Episcope Hospitality's proven ability to create vibrant, community-driven dining destinations make them an ideal partner for South Station Tower," Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines' U.S. East market Sarah Hawkins said in a press release. "These exciting new dining concepts will not only enhance the tenant and resident experience but also further solidify South Station Tower's position as a premier destination within Boston's evolving downtown."
Known for renowned dining concepts led by David Morton of the legendary Morton's Steakhouse Family, Episcope Hospitality's concepts will include a full-service restaurant, fast-casual café and chic cocktail bar and lounge.
Starting with The Moseley, diners can expect a casual fine dining setting with menu items ranging from gourmet salads to fresh seafood, chops and burgers. Meanwhile Proper Fare, the all-day café and market, will offer to-go sandwiches and salads in addition to caffeinated beverages. The dining concepts are rounded out with a signature bar and lounge that will serve everything from coffee to cocktails. The official name of this concept will be announced at a later date.
"Boston is a city that values authenticity and excellence, two qualities that define how we approach hospitality," Morton said in the press release. "South Station Tower is the perfect canvas: a place where history meets innovation, and where a true sense of community can thrive. We're honored to help shape the culinary and social identity of such a transformative project."
All three dining concepts will be open to visitors, residents and tenants of South Station Tower. Those living in the tower can also take advantage of in-home dining service, priority reservations, catering and more.
