Charlie Kirk’s wife shared one final video of her husband days before he died
Days before the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk while hosting an event at Utah Valley University, his wife, Erika, posted what would become her last post involving her late husband.
The couple have two children together – a daughter, born in Aug. 2022, and a son, born in May 2024.
Erika's last post with her husband was a slideshow of videos on Instagram , titled "Second Baby; Deeper Grace: 10 things I did different this postpartum.
In the slideshow, a video features Charlie laying on a memory foam cot in a hospital room, which Erika bought for him.
"Love the cot," he says in the video. "I have a great wife."
"Don't forget about your husband when packing for the hospital," Erika captioned the slide.
Followers of both Charlie and Erika were quick to share their condolences in the wake of Charlie's death.
"I can't sleep, taking it as the lord giving me opportunity to pray for you," one commenter said.
"Praying for you Erika," another user said. "I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. Charlie was loved nation wide. He will not be forgotten."
