Chick-fil-A is expanding its Boston footprint with the city's first delivery-focused kitchen, opening Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, within the Roxbury Newmarket Foodhub.

Located at 94 Shirley Street, Chick-fil-A Boston Delivery will exclusively fulfill orders through third-party delivery platforms Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The new location is part of Boston's CloudKitchens network, designed to bring the restaurant's offerings closer to customers.

"I am incredibly grateful to open this delivery-focused kitchen, where we can provide our Guests with even greater convenience and accessibility to their Chick-fil-A favorites," said Matt DeMichele-Rigoni, who will serve as the local Owner-Operator of both the new delivery kitchen and Chick-fil-A Copley Square. "By dedicating this CloudKitchens space to delivery, we're not only better serving our Guests, but also significantly increasing our capacity to serve delicious food more efficiently."

DeMichele-Rigoni brings over 15 years of experience with the company, having started at age 15 at a Nashua, New Hampshire location. After participating in Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program in 2017, he became the Owner-Operator of the Copley Square restaurant in 2022.

The new delivery kitchen aims to create 25-30 full and part-time jobs in the community. DeMichele-Rigoni has also committed to community initiatives, including participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits. To mark the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $25,000 to Feeding America to support hunger relief efforts through the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A Copley Square will temporarily close later this fall for renovations. The remodel will include a redesigned front counter, serving area, and improved guest queueing to better accommodate various ordering methods. An exterior door and awning will also be added to improve customer flow.
