Would your child love to arrive at school in a massive fire truck? Here's how to make it happen
Skip the bus and get an epic first day of school ride through the Easthampton Fire Department.
The city is offering an Easthampton child the opportunity to take the ladder truck to school.
"Ride in style on your first day of school," the Facebook post reads. "Let Easthampton Firefighters bring you to school on your first day."
To qualify, you must be an Easthampton resident, go to an Easthampton Public School and be in grade 1-12.
If interested, like the Facebook post and follow the fire department. Then email Deputy Chief Kevin Benson at kbenson@easthamptonma.gov before Tuesday at 5 p.m. Email must provide student name, age, grade, school, pickup address and contact phone number.
All emails will be entered into a raffle and a random drawing will take place Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. The winner will be contacted that day.
