Harrington House restaurant in SW Bakersfield to close

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- After serving the Bakersfield community for four years, Harrington House in southwest Bakersfield announced its closure.

On social media, the restaurant shared its gratitude to the community and thanked its team members.

The restaurant described the goodbye as "bittersweet," and are excited for what comes next for the new owners.

The restaurant "Zani's" is set to takeover soon.

The community is invited for a "proper send-off," on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to owners.
