Is Kristi Noem’s gov’t shutdown video playing at Bradley International Airport?

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — The Kristi Noem video faulting Democrats for the federal government shutdown is not being played at Bradley International Airport, said Brian Spyros, spokesperson for the Connecticut Airport Authority.

That makes the Hartford-Springfield airport one of many airports, including Logan International in Boston , where the video is not being shown.

Spyros wouldn't elaborate as to why the video is not being shown. But airports around the country that are declining to show it cite policies against partisan political messaging at publicly-owned facilities.

In the video, the Department of Homeland Security secretary blames Democrats, and not her own party, for the ongoing government shutdown.

"It is TSA's top priority to make sure that you have the most pleasant and efficient airport experience possible while we keep you safe," Noem said in the clip. "However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted."

Bradley saw nearly 7 million passenger boardings and arrivals last year.
