Take a look inside Salem Dunkin’ transformed into Halloween store oozing with ‘slime’
Dunkin' has added a spooky twist to one of its stores located in arguably Massachusetts' most Halloween-loving cities.
The Dunkin' located in downtown Salem at 52 Washington St. has been remodeled with purple slime-like decorations to reflect the upcoming holiday.
"Someone (or something?!???) appears to have broken inside and eerily redecorated," the coffee shop wrote recently in a post on Instagram . "If you know anything, please let us know in the comments as the investigation is ongoing."
The location now features purple "slime" dripping from the roof and windows outside and on the walls and furniture inside.
Some messages around the store written in the slime say things such as "THE RUMORS R TRUE" and "I'M BAK."
A giant spider web sits on one of the walls in the store, and a message written on it with slime reads "I'M UR CUTEST NITEMARE."
The new decorations may be a reference to Dunkin's Spider Donut, a limited time purple frosting-covered doughnut with a spider in the center.
Last year, the Spider Donut took over the Dunkin' Instagram account in a series of posts teasing its return.
Several other brands commented on Dunkin's post about the Salem location, referencing the spider's return to the chain.
"Spidey d coming back to save spooky szn," HomeGoods, the popular home decor store, commented.
"Y'all our fave is back," commented fast food restaurant chain Popeyes.
Dunkin' has not officially announced the return of the Spider Donut, though rumors have circulated online that the doughnut and merchandise inspired by it will be available in stores on Oct. 15.
