Motorcyclist dies after collision with car in Holyoke on Monday
HOLYOKE — A motorcyclist died Monday after colliding with a car near North Bridge and Lyman streets, Holyoke police said.
At 2:50 p.m., officers responded to the scene of the crash, Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan said in a social media post Monday afternoon.
The motorcycle rider, a man, was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit is investigating, Keenan said.
