Moving company chooses South Plainfield as part of growth strategy
SOUTH PLAINFIELD – A growing moving and storage company has secured new space in the borough to support its ongoing expansion.
Great Moving & Storage has leased 27,484 square feet at 20 Harmich Road, Building 2. Metz Industrial Group (MIG) of Bussel Realty Corp (BRC) secured the deal on behalf of the tenant.
"Great Movers has been a long-term MIG client, and we're thrilled to place them into a space that matches the scale of their growth," Jordan Metz, principal of MIG, said in a news release.
The South Plainfield facility is part of a 57,250-square-foot industrial property situated on 4.9 acres. The building offers 27-foot-6-inch-high ceilings, two tailboard loading, five drive-in doors, wet sprinklers, 400 amps of electric power and ample parking spaces.
Great Moving & Storage is a licensed and insured moving and storage company that serves NJ and the wider tri-state area. The company offers professional moving and packing services, as well as short- and long-term storage options in clean, climate-controlled facilities.

Marcus Partners, the property owner, is a Boston-based real estate investment firm that manages more than 21 million square feet of real estate across industrial, multifamily, life science and select commercial property types. The company has completed more than 120 investments since its founding in 2008.
Metz Industrial Group, part of Bussel Realty Corp, specializes in small-bay, industrial outdoor storage and last-mile logistics assets throughout New Jersey.
