Overnight wreck blocks lanes on busy Hill Country highway

According to a Texas Department of Transportation alert, the crash was reported around 3:36 a.m. on May 2 near Mile Marker 489 on I-10 East. The location sits between Kerrville and Junction.
The incident is classified as high severity, and both eastbound lanes are currently affected as crews work to clear the scene.
