Samuel Tremblett, 20, of South Easton, was identified as the man who was killed in a single-car crash on Route 138 in Easton early Wednesday morning, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III said.

A 911 caller reported the crash on Route 138 just past the Raynham town line to Easton Police around 1:04 a.m. Tuesday, Quinn's office said in a statement.

First responders found a blue Tesla with "significant damage" engulfed in flames in a wooded area about 20 feet from the highway's southbound lane.

Tremblett's body was found in the back seat of the car after first responders extinguished the fire, Quinn's office said.

After the fire was out, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of Tremblett's body.

The crash does not appear to be suspicious, Quinn's office said.

An investigation into the crash continues.
