Trump flips off heckler who called him a ‘pedophile protector’

President Donald Trump raised the middle finger at a heckler who called him a "pedophile protector" during a visit to a Ford plant Michigan on Tuesday.

A video shows Trump walking around a raised area of the Dearborn F-150 plant when the heckler, who is not shown, yells at Trump, calling him a "pedophile protector." The name is an apparent reference to the Trump administration's handling of the investigation into the deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein.

In response, Trump appears to mouth twice the words "(expletive) you" before raising his middle finger.

In a statement to the Washington Post , White House Communications Director Steven Cheung confirmed the authenticity of the video.

"A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the president gave an appropriate and unambiguous response," he told the outlet.

The heckler is a union-backed auto worker at Ford Motor Co., who has subsequently been suspended, according to Michigan Advance .

The worker, TJ Sabula, 40, told The Post he had no regrets for his actions.

"I don't feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity," Sabula told the outlet. "And today I think I did that."

This isn't the first time Trump has uttered profane language in public.

When a ceasefire in hostilities between Iran and Israel fell apart in June 2025, Trump lashed out at the two countries, telling reporters that they "don't know what the (expletive) they are doing."
