Hurricane Debby: Which restaurants in Tallahassee are open? Find out
Although the capital seems to have dodged the torment of Debby , which as of midday was back to being a tropical storm, those without power still will be forced to look for hot meals.
To help ease the frustration that comes with driving around looking for whose doors are open, the Tallahassee Democrat has compiled a short list of establishments serving hot food on Monday.
Some may operate differently in terms of hours or how they take payment. And when in doubt, call ahead.
Of course, if you are heading out to eat, know that the area remains under a tropical storm warning until 10:30 p.m. So drive safely. Forecasters have warned Tallahassee could see tropical storm force gusts along with downed trees and power lines as Debby pushes through.
