If elected, what will be your top priority/priorities in the legislature? My priorities will be: Maintaining fiscal responsibility; protecting taxpayers; keeping New Hampshire affordable; supporting excellent public schools; protecting local control; supporting veterans and first responders; and making sure Dover receives its fair share of state resources.

What can you as a lawmaker do to bring down local property taxes?Control state spending by eliminating waste, and oppose unfunded mandates that shift costs to state municipalities. I will also work to bring Dover its fair share of state resources so local taxpayers aren't left carrying costs that should be shared by the state.

Do you feel the state is doing enough to support its public schools? We can always do better. New Hampshire should support excellent public schools while demanding accountability for every taxpayer dollar. I support strong academics, career and technical education, parental involvement, and making sure education funding reaches classrooms effectively.

What can state lawmakers do to increase housing affordability for Granite Staters who aren't millionaires?Encourage responsible housing growth, reduce unnecessary regulations that drive up construction costs, and protect local control over zoning and land use. We need more housing while maintaining and respecting the character and needs of individual communities.

New Hampshire has the third oldest population in the U.S. What can the state legislature do to keep and attract young people to the Granite State?Make New Hampshire more affordable by addressing housing and energy costs, keeping taxes low, supporting small businesses, and expanding career and technical education. Young people need good jobs, affordable places to live, and opportunities to build a future here in New Hampshire.

What are your views on locating large-scale AI data centers in NH?I do not support large-scale AI data centers being developed at the expense of New Hampshire taxpayers, ratepayers, or local communities. Any proposal should be subject to local control and must demonstrate that it will not increase electricity costs or place an unfair burden on taxpayers and existing residents.

What are your views on New Hampshire cooperating with ICE?New Hampshire should cooperate with federal immigration authorities and not interfere with lawful federal enforcement. At the same time, law enforcement should operate within the law, respect due process, and the responsibilities of state and local government.

What can the state do to lower electric rates for residents and businesses? We need to increase reliable energy supply, reduce unnecessary costs and regulations, and pursue an all-of-the-above approach that keeps electricity affordable and reliable. Energy policy should focus on what works for New Hampshire ratepayers, not political agendas.

What are your views on New Hampshire legalizing recreational marijuana?I believe this is an issue that should be decided directly by the people of New Hampshire. I support putting recreational marijuana legalization before voters in a statewide referendum rather than having the Legislature make that decision for them.
