Ex-MAGA icon in scathing midterm takedown of Trump, GOP: ‘Bloodbath’

A former MAGA supporter has lowered the boom on President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, warning that the midterm elections are going to be a "bloodbath" for the White House and the GOP.

In a video posted on X, conservative columnist Ann Coulter said that the "Republicans are about to be completely wiped out in the midterms."

She added, "This is going to be a bloodbath like we haven't seen before."

Coulter, who voted for Trump in 2024 because of her support for Vice President JD Vance, said that Trump's war with Iran "could not have gone worse."

"We have replaced the leadership, the mullahs running Iran, with either the equivalent or worse mullahs," she said. "We've made Iran way stronger. Turns out they don't even need a nuke. They can just shut down the Strait of Hormuz."

Coulter said that the amount of aid that the US gives to Israel has become an issue in places like Michigan, home of one of this year's pivotal midterm US Senate races.

"This has been a disaster for the Republican Party, a disaster for Trump, a disaster for Israel, a disaster for American Jews," she said.
