Public asked for info on missing Flagler man

Update: After this story was posted, Mr. Ravitskiy contacted the News-Journal to say he made contact with his family not long after this report. He is currently living with family and is in good health.

Flagler County sheriff's investigators are asking for the public's help in finding a missing Palm Coast man.

Aleksey Ravitskiy, 27, has been missing from his Fenimore Lane home since July 11, sheriff's spokeswoman Debra Johnson said Tuesday. His mother said she last saw him July 11 just before 11 p.m.

The 5-foot, 10-inch Ravitskiy, who did not take his cellphone or money with him, suffers from a health condition and has been off his medication for some time, Johnson said.

Ravitskiy has brown eyes and brown hair. He might be headed to Brooklyn or North Carolina, Johnson said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Roger Spires at 386-313-4911.
