Electric stoves may ease asthma

Switching from a gas stove to an electric one could make a big difference if you or someone in your family has asthma.

People with poorly-controlled asthma who switched from gas to electric induction stoves had fewer asthma symptoms — and 70% fewer ER visits, according to a study by Dr. Ashwini Sehgal, a physician and medical researcher at Case Western Reserve University.
