Hot, sunny weekend ahead in North Texas with only slim rain chance

North Texas is heading into a hot weekend as temperatures climb and humidity pushes heat index values even higher. Forecasters say skies will stay mostly sunny with only a very isolated chance of a shower, and most people won't need an umbrella. Highs across the state are already near 90 degrees, and conditions will stay warm through the evening.
