Several roads in the Saratoga and Batson areas remain closed or difficult to pass Thursday because of high water following recent severe weather.

FM 770 east of Saratoga remains closed due to high water. FM 787 also remains closed in areas because of flooding.

FM 787 is passable around the Jackson Loop area for drivers traveling to Saratoga, but the curve at FM 787 and FM 770 is completely underwater. Drivers can use back roads through town to get around the flooded area.

The Davis Sawmill Curve, also known as the double bridges, remains deeply flooded and is not passable.

FM 770 between Saratoga and West Hardin School is underwater, with water getting deeper in some areas and continuing to rise. Drivers in smaller vehicles are advised to use caution.

High water also covers portions of Highway 105 near Pine Island Bayou by West Hardin School. Water is present on both the Saratoga and Batson sides of the bridge and continues to rise.

Drivers should avoid flooded roadways and never attempt to drive through water when the depth or condition of the road is uncertain.
