The teenage son of an employee at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has disappeared.
Benjamin Brathwaite, 16, was reported missing by family on the morning of Tuesday, April 28, according to WANF and ABC affiliate WSB-TV .
Police said the teen was last seen around 9:30 p.m. local time on Monday, April 27, at his home in the Regency Trace neighborhood of southwest Atlanta, per WSB-TV and Fox affiliate WAGA-TV .
Brathwaite's mother reportedly works at the Atlanta airport, which put out a call for help on social media.
“We are asking our airport community to come together & support one of our own,” Atlanta Airport officials said in a statement on X, calling Brathwaite the son of “a valued member of our airport community.”
Brathwaite is described in the missing person bulletin as 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 168 pounds.
He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt and black Nike running shoes.
Police have not indicated if foul play is suspected in Brathwaite's disappearance or if he had access to a vehicle.
