A children's re-freezable ice cube toy has been recalled after posing a risk of serious injury.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled over 200,000 Stephan Baby Boo Bunnie and Friends children's toys due to a risk of serious injury from both choking and laceration. According to the CBC Group, the toy's plastic cube can break into small parts or sharp edges, which leads to the risk of injury.

The recalled toys are small plush animals with a removable, water-filled plastic cube that is chilled in the freezer for comfort. The CPSC has received 20 reports of the toys' cube cracking or breaking into small parts, including one report where a child swallowed sharp pieces.

The CPSC says that consumers should immediately stop using the toys' plastic cube and take it away from children. Consumers can contact Stephan Baby for a refund or store credit with proof of purchase. Consumers without proof of purchase will receive a $10 refund in the form of a check or a $20 stephanbaby.com store credit.
Consumers are also asked to write in permanent marker "recalled" on the indented area of the toy and upload a photo of it to https://recall.stephanbaby.com/ to receive a prepaid return shipping label.
