Epic Flight Academy (EPA), the largest Part 141 flight school in the United States, has acquired two Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft to facilitate its multiengine training program.

Founded in 1999 in Florida, EPA has flight schools in nine locations stretching from Florida to Colorado and a total of approximately 100 flight instructors to serve 600 students.

According to school officials, the two new Tecnam twins will increase the academy's multiengine training capacity.

The Tecnam P2006T is known as a highly efficient multi-engine trainer. Equipped with a state-of-the-art glass cockpit, the aircraft provides an ultra-modern training environment.

EFA officials note the P2006T is an airframe that is highly appealing to the academy's diverse demographic of international students, who aspire to commercial airline operations. In addition, the P2006T boasts exceptional fuel efficiency and lower operating costs  compared to other light training twins on the market.

Walter Da Costa, EPA's chief sales officer, said these cost-saving benefits directly support the school's commitment to delivering high-quality education without placing an undue financial burden on aspiring pilots.

"It is an absolute honor to see the P2006T join the fleet of Epic Flight Academy…," Da Costa said. "Their commitment to providing affordable, state-of-the-art training perfectly aligns with Tecnam's design philosophy. We are incredibly proud to support their growing operations and to play a role in developing the next generation of global commercial pilots."
