travelling? Do you want to show the world there’s more to Malaysia than
Petronas Twin Towers and Orang Utans?
Hosting an AFS participant gives you the chance to experience a new culture in your own home. It’s a fantastic opportunity. You’ll be introducing someone to Malaysian life, discovering your own culture and country, and expand your own horizons too.

Hosting program duration
You could host our participants from either one of two programs:
- School program: 15-18 year-old participants who come to live with Malaysian families and attend secondary school.
- 18+ program: adults over 18 years of age who come to volunteer for a local community organisation and live with Malaysian families but with more independence.
