HBO ประกาศคว้าสิทธิ สร้างซีรีย์ The Last of Us เมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว โดยผู้กำกับเกม Neil Druckmann มาเขียนบทให้

ล่าสุดทีมแคสต์ตัวละครเอกได้แล้ว และคนที่จะมารับบทเป็น Joel และ Ellie คือ Pedro Pascal จาก The Mandalorian, Narcos, Game of Throne และ Bella Ransey ที่เคยรับบท Lyanna Mormont จาก Game of Throne ตามลำดับ

HBO ยังไม่กำหนดวันฉายของซีรีย์ The Last of Us
