กูเกิลขยาย App Launcher ของ Chrome OS มาลงวินโดวส์

กูเกิลประกาศว่าตัวเรียกแอพ (app launcher) ของ Chrome OS ( ภาพประกอบดูข่าวเก่า ) ถูกพอร์ตมายัง Chrome บนวินโดวส์แล้ว และจะพอร์ตไปยังแมคกับลินุกซ์ในอนาคตต่อไป

app launcher ของ Chrome OS เอาไว้เรียกเว็บแอพที่รองรับ ระบบแพกเกจของ Chrome โดยมันจะรันขึ้นมาคนละหน้าต่างกับเบราว์เซอร์หลัก

การใช้งานบนวินโดวส์ต้องผ่าน Chrome Dev Channel และติดตั้งเว็บแอพอย่างน้อยหนึ่งตัว เราจะเห็นไอคอนใหม่โผล่ขึ้นมาบนทาสก์บาร์ของวินโดวส์เป็นรูปตารางสี่เหลี่ยม 9 ช่อง ซึ่งเป็นไอคอนเดียวกับบน Chrome OS ครับ

เหมือนมันจะมาเป็น Star Menu ของ Windows 8 แต่รันแค่แอพของ Chrome ถ้ารันแอพของ Windows ได้ด้วยคงจะสุดยอดมากๆ

ออก Android launcher เรียกใช้ผ่าน Chrome บน PC เลยดีกว่า

ในเมื่อ Chrome OS กับ Android มันเป็นของกูเกิลอยู่แล้ว ผมว่าเค้าจับมารวมกันเองน่าจะเวิร์กกว่านะ :P
