โซนี่ประกาศรางวัลเกมแห่งปี 2020 ของ PlayStation.Blog ซึ่งเปิดให้แฟนๆ เป็นคนโหวตเกมในหมวดหมู่ต่างๆ ซึ่งมีคนมาร่วมโหวตถึง 2.5 ล้านคน

ผลคือ The Last of Us Part II กวาดรางวัลไปมากที่สุด 9 รายการ ส่วนเกมอื่นๆ ที่ได้รางวัลก็เป็นเกมของโซนี่เองเกือบหมด เช่น Ghost of Tsushima หรือ Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

รางวัลหลักๆ ได้แก่

• เกมแห่งปี (PS4): The Last of Us Part II
• เกมแห่งปี (PS5): Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
• Best Narrative: The Last of Us Part II
• Best Graphical Showcase: The Last of Us Part II
• Best Art Direction: Ghost of Tsushima
• Best Soundtrack: The Last of Us Part II
• Best Sound Design: The Last of Us Part II
• Best Multiplayer: Call of Duty: Warzone
• Most Anticipated Game: New God of War
• Studio of the Year: Naughty Dog
