SHIPPING INFORMATION

Your order will be shipped to arrive in a timely manner, based on which shipping method(s) will provide the most reliable and cost-effective service for the items you order. Where you live and what you order will dictate which shipping method(s) we offer. This might include Priority Mail, FedEx Home Delivery, UPS Ground, FedEx Express Saver and/or FedEx 2-Day (when faster delivery is required). 

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee PERISHABLE orders shipped via Priority Mail, due to the fact that this service is not always reliable to certain areas.

Our shipping rates are discounted and are exactly what we pay the carriers plus a small handing fee. It is important to understand that it becomes more expensive to ship the further the destination is from Southern New Mexico.

Also, be aware that while others may offer “FREE SHIPPING” that it may not be exactly “FREE”. If you are choosing which supplier to select we suggest you compare our total prices (with shipping included) with those who offer “FREE SHIPPING”.

We will email or call you with a tracking number when your order is shipped.  We can ship most orders to P.O. Boxes but, if so, please arrange to pick up your order at the post office as soon as it arrives.

Most orders are shipped within 1-2 weeks of receipt and we suggest you allow sufficient time when ordering. To ensure freshness, some items are made to order and may take extra time.  In some cases, orders may be delayed due to weather, crop conditions or other situations which may affect product availability. We normally ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.

If you request a rush order or specific delivery date, please notify us and we will try to accommodate you.  Your order may be shipped in several different packages depending on the shipping requirements of the products you order. For perishable items, please notify us if there are any specific dates when you cannot receive your order and we will adjust the shipping date accordingly.  Or, you can arrange for a trusted neighbor to receive your order and store it properly until such time as you can transfer it to your refrigerator or freezer.  Please note that FedEx Home Delivery, UPS Ground and Priority Mail shipments may arrive on Saturday.

Roasted green chile and other frozen food items are shipped in special insulated containers and should arrive chilled or frozen in 1-3 days, depending on the final destination .  Upon receipt, your order should be opened immediately and placed in a freezer or refrigerator until used. 

Fresh green chile is shipped in special ventilated boxes to arrive in 1-4 days, depending on the final destination.  Upon arrival, green chile can be stored for 2-3 days in a cool ventilated area or placed in a refrigerator until used.  Please make sure you have an adequate storage area for your fresh green chile and do not leave it out on your porch or in the hot sun.  If you plan to roast your green chile, particularly for large orders, we recommend you schedule ahead for your roasting so that it can be done as soon as possible after arrival.

Ristras and other dried and non-perishable orders are shipped to arrive within 1-5 days, depending on the final destination.  They should be opened as soon as possible after receipt.
