Periodontist

Dr. Eric Choudhury is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.  He went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, a member of the prestigious Ivy League, where he completed his dental training and earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.  Seeking further expertise in dentistry, he completed a rigorous general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT, where he provided treatment to medically-compromised patients.  Dr. Choudhury then completed his 3-year specialty residency in periodontics and implant dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, earning a Certificate in periodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree.  His extensive training provides him with a unique perspective in optimizing your oral health care.

Dr. Choudhury lives in Sugar Land with his wife Dr. Payumo and their two children, Evan and Alyssa.  When not spending time with his family, he enjoys hiking, swimming, movies, and watching Louisville basketball.  He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology.

Cosmetic Dentist

An Ivy League graduate and compassionate dentist, Dr. Alma Payumo grew up in San Diego, CA where she attended the University of California at Riverside and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT where she provided treatment to medically-compromised patients .

Dr. Payumo continues to keep up with the latest trends in dental treatment and technology.  She is a certified provider of Invisalign® treatment and is skilled in all aspects of dentistry.  She has taken numerous continuing education courses and maintains active memberships in several organizations including the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.  When not treating patients, Dr. Payumo enjoys spending time with her family and reading.  A native of the Philippines, Dr. Payumo is fluent in both English and Tagalog.

Ann Ly-Penn, R.D.H.

Practice Manager

Ann is very passionate about dentistry and has been in the dental field for over 19 years.  She has been a dental assistant, dental hygienist, and now a practice manager.  It is important to her that all of her patients understand and feel comfortable with their treatment.  She believes everyone should be proud and happy of their smile.  Ann is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Jessica Salas, R.D.A.

Clinical Assistant

Jessica is a caring and enthusiastic clinical assistant.  She is a graduate of the Academy for Dental Assisting and loves the opportunity to provide her patients with a new smile.  Jessica loves all aspects of dentistry and hopes to pursue a dental hygiene degree.  In her spare time, she is interested in Zumba Fitness, riding horses, watching sports, and spending time with her family.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.
