Barrier pipe is a 3 layer system consiting of a metal layer sandwiched between 2 layers of PE80 or PE100 pipe depending on site. Because of it construction protectaline barrier pipe is slightly larger than standard Polythene water pipe, and must be used with the correct fittings.
