In public groups, visitors (people who aren’t members) can post and comment if admins allow, and people can become members without admin approval. You can still review and approve people before they can post or comment.
There are two main tools for managing posts by visitors and members:

Participant Approval:
you can approve members and visitors before they post or comment for the first time. Once someone is approved as a participant, you can still require admin approval of their future posts using post approval.

Post Approval:
you can approve all posts before they’re published, including posts by members and visitors approved as participants.
Here’s what settings to use depending on how you want to manage posts:

You can also preapprove some members
to post and comment without admin approval, and you can allow approved participants to review participant requests from their friends to help admins and moderators save time. If you don’t want to turn on post approval but are worried about spam, you can use the Potential Spam folder
.

Participant Approval

in the top right of Facebook, then tap Groups
and select your group.
2.
Tap Manage

in the top right of Facebook, then tap Groups
and select your group.

If you’d like, you can filter requests by tapping Request Age, Rules, Location, Profile Type, Gender
or Friends
at the top.

You can set up participation questions to help you decide whether or not to approve a participant.

Post Approval
Group admins can choose to require admin or moderator approval before posts appear in the group. Admins can also choose to require edited posts to be approved by an admin or moderator before they’re published.

in the top right of Facebook, then tap Groups
and select your group.

Note:

If an admin turns on the Approve edits
setting, edited posts will appear in Pending posts
for admins and moderators to review. If an admin turns Approve edits
off, people can edit their posts without admin or moderator approval.

Not all changes to group posts are considered edits. Edits include changes to the content of posts, including when new content is added to a post.

If someone suggests a new chat to attach to their post, the chat suggestion will appear in Pending approvals
for admin and moderator review (whether or not the Approve edits
setting is on for the group); if an admin or moderator approves the suggestion, the chat will be created and attached to the post.

Any group admin or moderator can approve a post.
Note:
Facebook may disable the group
if an admin or moderator approves violating content from a group member.

If you're an admin of a group, you can choose to require admin approval before posts by members appear in your group. Admins can also choose to require edited posts to be approved by an admin or moderator before they’re published.
