POLICY
Do not provide your Page, group, or Event with a name or username that contains profanity or violates our Community Standards . Do not change the name of your Page, group, or Event in a manner that significantly alters its existing purpose. Do not merge two Pages when their purposes are dissimilar. Note that there are additional restrictions on the names of Pages and Events .
ALLOWED
Creating a Page to promote your new business
Creating a group named “Building Bridges” to help organize volunteer-led construction projects
Changing the name of your “Building Bridges” group to “Build Together”
NOT ALLOWED
Merging your business Page with an unrelated personal Page
Changing the name of your “Building Bridges” group to “We Love Dogs”
Creating an Event with a name that includes hate speech
