"My 430 spider originally came from California where it was driven a lot (18,000 miles in 7 years) with the top down. The leather had gotten faded and dry and some areas had been "touched up" a couple of times. This resulted in the black stitching in several areas being dyed tan. I realized how faded and discolored the leather had gotten when I removed an arm rest pad and saw the underside.
I decided to go all in and replace all of the upholstery with the exception of the dash and pillars. The upholsterer and I brainstormed, looked at several photos online and decided to add some custom touches including piping, black accents and embroidery on the head rests. I also went from all tan Daytona seats to tan with black stripes. I think it turned out beautifully, though some purists may disagree...LOL! The seats are incredibly soft and supple, and of course, that fresh leather aroma......ahhh!
