Community United Child Care Centers, Inc. serves all children between the ages of 6 weeks old through the summer following the child’s 4th grade. We are a multi-corporate, non-profit child development center that began in 1993 by AEA 267 , Exceptional Persons Inc. , Veridian Credit Union , Cedar Falls Schools and Waterloo Schools and Covenant Medical Center (non-active). Parent representatives from each building have been added to our Board of Directors. Our mission statement, "Partnering with families to nurture and educate tomorrow's leaders", explains how we view all our community children, as leaders in training.

Community United Child Care Centers continues to believe that leading community representatives in a discussion about children, to enrich and be enriched, to learn from and to teach each other, allows us to maintain the quality your children deserve. Your children have a right to love, laugh and cry in a setting where differences are celebrated as avenues for growth.

We have centers that are nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) .

Community United Child Care Centers is a member of The Greater Cedar Valley Chamber of Commerce , Cedar Valley's Promise Early Childhood Committee (including multiple sub-committees), National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) , Iowa Association for the Education of Young Children (Iowa AEYC) , Iowa Afterschool Association (formerly Iowa School Age Care Association) and the National AfterSchool Association (formerly the National School-Age Care Association).

Community United Child Care Centers, Inc. proudly supports over 600 children and 400 families in the Cedar Valley area in the education of our communities' children. Quality, safe childcare care is an ever-changing, ongoing process. Community United Child Care Centers has taken this seriously by using our strategic planning process, using it as a tool to help us make our mission statement a "living document".

We are pleased to claim the original Head Start Inclusion Pilot Program and Iowa Department of Labor Apprenticeship Pilot Program.

Each year, more Cedar Valley's parents are beginning to understand the value of quality Early Childhood Education for their children. Working hand in hand with community leaders, parents have the opportunity to help their children succeed in those crucial early years, by enrolling and participating in the education process at Community United Child Care Centers, Inc.
