The Department of Art History is delighted to welcome Prof. Adedoyin Teriba to Dartmouth. Prof. Teriba is a specialist of modern and contemporary architectural history and is also a trained architect. His research focuses on the built environments of setters/migrants of African Descent in West Africa from the eighteenth century to the present day; architecture and metaphysics; as well as the ways in which folklore, orality, language, and critical regionalism in architecture intersect.
