Alumni Engagement

If you are interested in expanding the relationship between students and alumni or Geisel alumni interested in connecting with students, please reach out to the Co-Chairs of Student and Alumni Engagement, Taylor Cooper and Connor Bridges.

Med Mentoring Programs: Careers in Medicine, Residency Prep, Alumni Spotlight, and URM AlumniConnects. Each track provides opportunities for you to connect and network with alumni about specialties, research, and training insights. Look for these announcements in the student digests.

Affinity Groups: Women, Black, Asian/Pacific Americans, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, and Native American alumni in healthcare and biomedical sciences, along with a new specialty group in Orthopaedics which is being developed. Each affinity group brings students and alumni together to share experiences and provide support under common interests. You can always sign up for an Affinity Group here.

Helping Our Students Travel (HOST) Program: This program connects students with alumni during residency interviews; alumni provide lodging and a local connection. Fill out this form to start the process.

Student-Alumni Connections :If you’d like to get in touch with alumni about a specialty, a research or elective interest, residency advice, or general mentorship, please fill out this form here and we will start outreach on your behalf.

White Coat & Stethoscope Campaign: Through sponsorship, alumni and the broader Geisel community provide warm welcome notes to incoming students as well as their first white coats and stethoscopes.

Match Day Notes: Alumni in the same specialty or hospital system that each student Matches into will send a note welcoming the student to the next phase of their careers.

As you make your way at Geisel School of Medicine, please share your
stories, experiences, and ideas around how we, and our alumni, can support you!
