Accessing News and Newspapers through DePauw Libraries: The Chronicle

Step 1: Visit  https://www.chronicle.com/  and select the 'Sign In' option from the top right corner of the page

Step 2: On the Sign In page click on the 'Sign Up' link to create a new account 

Step 3: Fill out your details ensuring to use your DePauw email address, then click on 'Sign Up'

Note : It is not required to click the 'Yes, please send me Academe Today' checkbox

Step 4: Once you click Sign Up you will be prompted to verify your email address and also presented with a short list of account benefits

Step 5: Check your email for the verification message and click on the verification link

Step 6: On verifying your email using the link, you will see the following verification confirmation message

Step 7: Use the credentials you set up to login and access your Chronicle account

Step 8: On login you will be asked to update your profile, complete it or skip this step based on your preference

Step 9: Click on the 'My account' link at the top right corner, and view the subscription information to confirm you are under DePauw's site access subscription

Step 9: Your subscription is now active and ready for use both on and off-campus
