Pet Quality? |
Pet* quality pups usually range in price from $1,500 - $2,000 from quality breeders who have a program and work and/or show their dogs along with health testing. If you don’t plan on breeding, a pet/companion quality pup should be what you would consider.A Fault such as an incorrect bite, cow hocked, too much white, etc., Will not inhibit your pup from being a great companion. All pups, being sold as pets should be sold with limited registration and with a neuter/spay contract.Limited registration just means that you would be restricted to get any paper work on puppies produced by that canine, if you attempted to breed (which would be a direct violation of the contract). The average neuter/spay contract clearly states by what age the pet should be fixed and that proof of the neuter/spay certificate should be sent to the breeder.Pet quality dogs should never be used for breeding.Only the best examples of the breed should be bred. There is only one reason to breed dogs and that is to better the breed. *Just because a dog is being sold as a pet by us (Dream Team Kennels) does not mean it’s pet quality, but it does mean that the canine must be fixed and not to be used for breeding. |
