Samsung-dong COEX-Mall is not so far from
my area (Sinsa-dong),
but I do not go there often compared with Myeong-Dong or Jong-Lo area.
and if I meet
??
people, Myeong-Dong or Jong-Gak is the center point.
I remember my first visit to Korea, COEX was popular and a lot of people
used to go and see movies there, Seems like it was a big trend visiting there.
Time goes by and now COEX has changed dynamically with a lot of new stores
and attractive brands. I found so many new opened stores and I felt time flies
like a Shinkansen.
Moreover, the purpose of today was not a shopping purpose but for finding a job
in Korea.
As I wrote on the blog last time, when I
visited some this kind of job fair at Myeong-dong
Area(Chun-Gu) the fair was canceled without
any notice. To avoid that kind of the time loss, I gave a call to COEX-mall and
took a bus to there.
When I got enter COEX, I felt something new
and I was almost got lost while walking
Toward the convention hall. I managed to
find a place of Job fair and started to talk some company. I went there alone
and I was a bit shy on the first half, but I could meet many high qualified
companies with smiles.
If I live alone(single), I can just choose
what looks fun and dynamic, but unfortunately I got married and need to think
about the basic income and future stabilization. Thanks to the companies I
could get to know today, I felt very happy and satisfied with the visit of
there. Getting back to house, I will try to discuss about this with my wife and
try to reply those companies.
As a Japanese(/American) finding an ideal job is not easy,
however I must survive my life with my wife and 2
cats.
I got whopper from one CEO for lunch, Thanks and wish to keep in touch.^-^
Right after Coex Mall, I took a bus to Gang-Nam for learning PC skills.
