飯田紬の広瀬守良氏の下で修行。草木染めによる紬織の作品作りを続け、松阪木綿の復元と指導を行いました。
1992年に「海の博物館」（鳥羽市）からの依頼で初めて貝紫を染めることに。アカニシ貝のパープル腺から採れるわずかな分泌液を丹念に集めて、苛性ソーダで発酵させて少しずつ絹糸を染めて機にかけて織り上げる。気の遠くなるような手間隙と労力と月日をかけて誕生したのが、鈴木氏の伊勢貝紫織です。

by Okakura Kakuzo (1863-1913)

The Book of Tea was written by Okakura Kakuzo in the early 20th century. It was first published in 1906, and has since been republished many times. -- In the book, Kakuzo introduces the term Teaism and how Tea has affected nearly every aspect of Japanese culture, thought, and life. The book is noted to be accessibile to Western audiences because though Kakuzo was born and raised Japanese, he was trained from a young age to speak English; and would speak it all his life, becoming proficient at communicating his thoughts in the Western Mind. In his book he elucidates such topics as Zen and Taoism, but also the secular aspects of Tea and Japanese life. The book emphasises how Teaism taught the Japanese many things; most importantly, simplicity. Kakuzo argues that this tea-induced simplicity affected art and architecture, and he was a long-time student of the visual arts. He ends the book with a chapter on Tea Masters, and spends some time talking about Sen no Rikyu and his contribution to the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Night Train to Lisbonis a philosophical novel by Swiss writer Pascal Mercier . It recounts the travels of Swiss Classics instructor Raimund Gregorius as he explores the life of Amadeu de Prado, a Portuguese doctor, during António de Oliveira Salazar's right-wing dictatorship in Portugal. Prado is a serious thinker whose active mind becomes evident in a series of his notes collected and read by Gregorius.

ストーリー

Night Train to Lisbon is a 2013 English-language drama film directed by Bille August and starring Jeremy Irons.

Based on the 2004 novel Night Train to Lisbon by Pascal Mercier and written by Greg Latter and Ulrich Herrmann, the film is about a Swiss teacher who saves the life of a woman and then abandons his teaching career and reserved life to embark on a thrilling intellectual adventure that takes him on a journey to the very heart of himself.

The film premiered out of competition at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Night Train to Lisbonis a philosophical novel by Swiss writer Pascal Mercier. It recounts the travels of Swiss Classics instructor Raimund Gregorius as he explores the life of Amadeu de Prado, a Portuguese doctor, during António de Oliveira Salazar's right-wing dictatorship in Portugal. Prado is a serious thinker whose active mind becomes evident in a series of his notes collected and read by Gregorius.

The book was originally published in German as Nachtzug nach Lissabon in 2004 and was first published in English in 2008. The novel became an international bestseller.[1] Danish film director Bille August adapted the book into a 2013 film of the same name, starring Jeremy Irons as Raimund Gregorius.

Raimund "Mundus" Gregorius, 57 years old, is a teacher at a Swiss gymnasium in modern-day Bern. He is an expert in ancient languages (Greek, Latin and Hebrew) and a man very comfortable in his routine. One morning on his way to work, he saves a mysterious Portuguese woman from what he assumes is a suicide attempt. Although the woman disappears shortly afterwards, their chance-encounter marks the beginning of Raimund's journey. Later that day, he visits an antiquarian bookshop where he discovers Um ourives das palavras (A Goldsmith of Words (may refer to Gil Vicente formidable playwright and poet of the Portuguese Renaissance who had possibly been a goldsmith), a book by Amadeu de Prado who ponders the philosophical issue of going back in time and making various different choices, resulting in a completely different life. 『地獄門』（じごくもん、英題：Gate of Hell）は、1953年（昭和28年）10月31日公開の日本映画である。大映製作・配給。監督は衣笠貞之助、主演は長谷川一夫。イーストマンカラー、スタンダード、89分。

日本初のイーストマン・カラー作品で[ 3 ]、大映にとっても初の総天然色映画となる。『平家物語』や『源平盛衰記』などで語り継がれた、袈裟と盛遠の物語を題材にした菊池寛の戯曲『袈裟の良人』が原作[ 4 ]。色彩指導に洋画家の和田三造を起用して平安時代の色彩（和色）の再現に努めた。本作は第7回カンヌ国際映画祭でパルム・ドール、第27回アカデミー賞で名誉賞と衣裳デザイン賞を受賞した[ 5 ]。

ストーリー
平清盛の厳島詣の留守を狙って起された平治の乱で、平康忠は、焼討をうけた御所から上皇と御妹・上西門院を救うため、身替りを立てて敵を欺いた。上西門院の身替りとなった袈裟の車を譲る遠藤武者盛遠は、敵をけちらして彼女を彼の兄・盛忠の家に届けたが、袈裟の美しさに心を奪われる。清盛派の権臣の首が法性寺の山門地獄門に飾られ、盛遠は重囲を突破して厳島に急行した。かくて都に攻め入った平氏は一挙に源氏を破り乱は治った。袈裟に再会した盛遠はますます心をひかれ、論功行賞に際し、清盛から「望み通りの賞を与える」と言われるや、速座に袈裟を乞うが彼女はすでに御所の侍、渡辺渡の妻だった。しかしあくまで彼女を忘れえない煩悩に苦しむ盛遠は、加茂の競べ馬で渡に勝利、その勢いのまま祝宴の席で場所柄もわきまえず渡に真剣勝負を挑み、清盛の不興を買う。自制心を失い、ついに狂気にとりつかれた盛遠は刀を手に袈裟と叔母の左和を脅かす。従わねば渡の命が無いと知った袈裟は、「夫・渡を殺してくれ」と偽り、自らその身替りとなって盛遠の手により絶命する。数日後、頭を丸め僧衣をまとった盛遠は、都を離れて苦悩の旅に出て行く[ 6 ]。
