Governor Charlie Baker on Thursday announced the first winners of the VaxMillions lottery sweepstakes aimed at incentivizing residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine, the first of five drawings that will take place between now and Aug. 26.
A Weymouth man won the first $1 million prize and a Chelsea High School student won the first $300,000 scholarship.
