Title I Program
Title I is a federally funded grant that targets communities with significant economic need. It is part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, amended in 2015 as the Every Student Succeeds Act. The program aims to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps. It’s goal to ensure that all students meet challenging state academic standards.
