Welcome to Panther’s Athletics!
Information for the 2025-2026 school year athletics program.
Welcome to Panther’s Athletics! We are very excited to offer inter-scholastic competitive sports this year! This Fall we will offer Cross Country & Basketball. This Winter we will offer Volleyball and and in the Spring, Track & Field .
Students and parents will need to complete several steps prior to participating in the above competitive middle school sports:
- STEP 1: Complete the Spring 2026 MS Sports Registration Form , which also requires parents and athletes to review the FCPS Student-Athlete Athletic Health Education Program .
- STEP 2: A fully completed and signed FCPS Middle School Sports Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Physical Examination Form ( PPE) . The exam must be completed by a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant. Please note that the medical exam and all forms must be dated on or after May 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
- STEP 3: The 2-sided Emergency Care Card must be filled, signed, and attached to the completed packet in Step 2.
- STEP 4: Student-athletes in FCPS are required to be covered by medical insurance. If your student is not covered by another plan, here is an option to consider.
- STEP 5: Turn in the completed and signed FCPS Middle School Sports Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Physical Examination Form (
PPE)and Emergency Care Cardto Mrs. Carr in the library.
While we have a variety of regular after school sports and clubs, in order to participate in inter-scholastic, competitive Cross Country, Basketball, Volleyball and Track and Field, all of the above must be completed and submitted before athletes are eligible to practice or compete.
Even if a student participated last year, all new forms are required for the 2025-2026 season.
