Ms. Shoemaker joined the Columbia family in 2025 as their school social worker. Prior to joining Columbia, she was the school social worker at Carson Middle School in Herndon. She is part time at Columbia and is also working at Saratoga Elementary. She has a bachelor's in social work from James Madison University and a master's in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She enjoys going to coffee shops, traveling, and being with friends and family!
