From the first pluck of a string to the final crash of the cymbals, it was a night to remember, showcasing the hard work and dedication our young musicians have poured into their instruments all year.

The Strings

The evening included the soothing sounds of our Strings Orchestra. For many of our fourth-grade performers, this was their first time under the big lights! The group showed incredible focus and synchronized bowing.

Watching them perform "First Finger Rock Strings Explosion"was jaw-dropping, as our youngest musicians swapped traditional folk for high-octane power chords. It was the perfect, high-energy performance. Our students are truly blossoming into versatile performers.

Voices in Unison

Next, our School Chorusfilled the room with their incredible vocal harmonies. It’s no small feat to get dozens of energetic elementary students to sing in perfect time, but our choir pulled it off with grace.

The whimsical piece, "Boots of Shining Leather",captured the rhythmic "clop-clop" of the melody perfectly, bringing a touch of folk charm to the stage that had the audience smiling from ear to ear.

They performed the touching ballad "Little Blue,"a song that required great emotional range and soft, controlled dynamics. The silence in the room was a testament to how deeply the students' performance moved the parents and faculty in attendance.

Band Brings the House Down

Closing out the night, the Advanced Bandbrought a burst of energy that got everyone’s toes tapping. The brass and woodwind sections have made leaps and bounds this semester, showing off their improved tone and confidence.

The crowd-favorite was undoubtedly "Hard Rock Blues."With its driving beat and gritty, bluesy riffs, the band showed they aren't just student musicians—they’re true performers! The percussion section deserves a special shout-out for keeping the "rock" in the "blues" throughout the entire piece.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Events like these wouldn't be possible without a massive support system. We extend a huge Thank Youto:

  • Our Music Directors:For their patience, expertise, and passion.
  • The Parents:For enduring the "squeaky" practice sessions at home and rehearsals.
  • The Custodial Staff:For helping us transform the gym into a professional-grade stage.
