Please note that if a student is testing at the time of the discovery of the cell phone, electronic device, or unauthorized material (even during a break), the student will not be permitted to continue testing and the student will be subject to procedures for addressing test security concerns, investigation of academic dishonesty, and possible disciplinary action in accordance with the FCPS Students Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R) document .
If there is a determination that a student cheated, the student will not be permitted to continue testing, the test will be invalidated, and the student will receive a score of “0.” The student will not be eligible for a retest during the current test window.
SOL Bell Schedule
On May 15, 19, and 21, we will have special schedules to support our school-wide SOL testing. Testing blocks will take place from 8:10 to 11:12 each of these three days. Students who are not testing during those times will be in various scheduled sessions focused on academic support, academic enrichment, and personal interests. From 11:12 to 2:55, students will attend their assigned Period 2, 6, and 8 classes, though the times of those classes vary by day. Academy students will attend their normal Academy periods as long as they are not scheduled for an SOL test at that time. The SOL test takes priority if there is a scheduling conflict.
On Tuesday, May 5th, students learned about the schedule during Period 4 and were given time to view their schedule in Securly Flex and make selections where choice was available to them. On Thursday, May 7th, students were given a schedule template (on paper or digitally, based on their preference) on which to record their personal schedule for the three days. At this time, we ask that you log into Securly Flex with your students to view their morning assignments for May 15, 19, and 21; additionally, you can view their schedule template to see their class and lunch schedule for those three days.
For questions about SOL testing, please reach out to our Assessment Coach, Dr. Karl Gussow ( @email ). For general questions about the schedule, please reach out to your student’s administrator.
Thank you for your support as we enter the final stretch of the 2025-2026 school year!
