Juan grew up in Springfield, VA, though he was originally born in Long Island, New York and his family is from Honduras. His background is quite diverse: He initially pursued a dream of becoming a professional soccer player, which led him to Germany after competing in Division 1 soccer at Radford University. Although his studies were in sports management and he was passionate about staying connected to sports, his experiences abroad inspired him to shift his focus.

He discovered a deep fulfillment in giving back to the community and supporting others who come from similar backgrounds to achieve their dreams. This passion is what brought him to Holmes Middle School. He is excited to support our students and their families.
