Regular Hours

  • 9:10 a.m. - 3:55 p.m.
    • Students should arrive  no earlier than 8:45 a.m., reporting to the cafeteria. Students who gather in the cafeteria are dismissed to their classrooms at  9:00 a.m. At 9:05 a.m., a warning bell will sound. All students should be in their classrooms by  9:10 a.m, when the second bell rings. School ends at 3:55 p.m.(Kiss-n-Ride students will be dismissed first, followed by walkers and bus/van riders.)

2025-26 Three-Hour Early Release Wednesday Dates

During a report to the School Board in May 2025, FCPS Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid announced plans to continue limited early release days in elementary schools and shift them to Wednesdays for the 2025-26 school year. This plan is based on recommendations from the Early Release Steering Committee. The committee includes parents, caregivers, school-based staff, and central office personnel.   • 11:10 a.m. - 3:55 p.m.

Two-Hour Early Closing

  • 9:10 a.m. - 1:55 p.m.

Three-Hour Early Release

  • 9:10 a.m. - 12:55 p.m.
