Reading Goal
Targeted:By June 2026, our multilingual learners will improve their SOL pass rate from 64% to 69% as measured by the SOL workbook. Additionally, by June 2026, students scoring pass advanced on the reading SOL will increase from 45% to 50% as measured by the SOL workbook.
Universal:Additionally, by June 2026, students scoring pass advanced on the reading SOL will increase from 45% to 50% as measured by the SOL workbook.

Strategy 1: Increase access to rigorous evidence-based, grade-level curriculum through intentional use of scaffolds and supports in reading and writing lessons during tier 1 and 2 instruction.
- Strategy 2:Improve integrity of implementation of core curriculum: tailoring instruction to meet student needs aligned with evidence-based literacy instruction.
Math Goal
Targeted:By June 2026, 80% of Multi-Lingual Learners and Students with Disabilities will pass or pass advance on their mathematics Standards of Learning Assessments. This will be a 5% increase in mathematics pass rates for Students with Disabilities and Multi-Lingual Learners.
Universal:By June 2026, 100% of Multi-Lingual Learners (MLLs) and Students with Disabilities will show measurable growth towards their MAP goals and a minimum of a 5% increase on their math SOL scores in grades 3-6 making the overall pass rates for SWD and MLLs 80%.

Strategy 1: Increase teacher's implementation of strategies and conversation structures that increase academic talk between students related to Shift 4: from show and tell to share and compare.

Strategy 2:Improve alignment of instructional planning based on analysis of common assessments.

POG Goal
Universal: By June 2026, all students will work to increase the frequency and depth of POG-related reflections from quarterly reflections scoring a 3 or higher, as measured by student-scored POG reflection rubric.

School leaders identify a structure (such as DEAR time, Advisory, or connected through specific content area(s)/teachers - Resource 1) to guarantee that each student experiences POG POL.
Social and Emotional Learning and Wellness
Targeted: By June 2025, for students in grades 3-6, we aim to increase the percentage of students who feel respected by their peers from 54% to 70%, as measured by the annual SEL screener.

Strategy 1:Staff regularly model social and emotional competencies in their interactions with others, to include interactions with students, families, and one another.

Strategy 2:Ensure that SEL and wellness practices are informed by student voice and represent diverse identities and backgrounds (e.g., SEL Screener data, feedback from student clubs, student focus groups, SEL screener, Fairfax County Youth Survey, etc.
- Strategy 3: Identified time in the master schedule is used to implement Morning Meeting (ES) or Responsive Advisory Meeting (MS/HS) with fidelity to improve student perceptions of belonging and SEL skills.
English Language Learners
Targeted: By the end of Spring 2026, the percentage of multilingual learners making VDOE WIDA Growth as measured by the WIDA ACCESS will increase from 56% to 61%.

Strategy 1: Monitor to ensure all multilingual learners are receiving explicit ELD instruction using the appropriate resources as outlined in ELD guidance documents.
